when i purchase music, i want something that is catchy, upbeat, and positive. i also want to listen to something that doesn't have a generic sound with some originality.

it's hard to find songs these days with "originality." songs in the pop genre sound so manufactured. indie and folk music seem to have more original artists who are truly song writers and truly care about making good music.
